Services We Offer
Masonry
Masonry represents one of the oldest forms of construction. The term ‘masonry’ refers to either solid stone or fabricated units that can be used structurally or as a curtain wall on a construction project. Materials include stone masonry, brick masonry, concrete masonry units, manufactured stone veneer, manufactured brick veneer, and cast stone—just a few of the systems the S&S team is capable of installing and offering for your projects.
Wood Composite
Composite wood is made at least partially from wood fibers—such as veneers, scraps, or sawdust—but it isn’t true lumber sourced directly from a tree. It’s combined with various other materials and additives to provide properties that natural wood alone wouldn’t offer. Wood composite panels from different manufacturers are systems the S&S team is trained and equipped to install in both residential and commercial projects.
Thermal & Moisture Protection
Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) and Fluid-Applied Weather Barriers are two systems designed with the same goal: protecting the building while offering additional benefits like energy efficiency and moisture control. EIFS can be mechanically attached or adhered to the building’s exterior sheathing. The S&S team meets all certification and installation requirements to apply these systems—either together or separately—according to the project’s specifications.
Finishes
Cement stucco is a decorative coating used on interior or exterior walls and ceilings. The system is composed of aggregates, fibers, and water, and is applied wet until it hardens into a solid material. Cement stucco can be applied to wood and metal framing using expanded metal lath, or directly onto CMU walls and exterior sheathing—a process known as DEFS. At S&S, our team has the training and expertise to install high-quality systems tailored to your project needs.
